Suitable for the Visually Impaired

With the adaptation of our house and its fittings especially to the needs of visually impaired guests, our house ranks among the pioneers of barrier-free hotel adaptations. Especially for guests with a handicap all rooms feature cases for the blind and deaf, flash alarms, separate wireless headphones and TV-sets with video text decoder.
Together with the Tyrolean Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TBSV) and Tirol Werbung quality criteria for accommodations suitable for the blind were set up for the first time.
Within the scope of this pilot scheme, universal standard criteria for the renovation and refitting of accommodations were set up. Based on these criteria interested businesses are visited by a team of experts with a representative of the TBSV to advise them on the required measures.
