Axamer Lizum

The unique Olympic skiing area of the Axamer Lizum, approx. 18 km from Innsbruck – the capital of the Alps – offers 40 km of perfectly groomed runs in all levels of difficulty with a snow guarantee. It's an Eldorado for all lovers of winter sports.

Patscherkofel

Follow in the footsteps of the stars on the Olympic run during your winter holiday and enjoy the new, widened family run. In addition to slopes for all levels of ability, the Patscherkofel also offers an extraordinary and impressive panorama over Innsbruck, Stubaital, Wipptal and Inntal valleys as well as numerous three-thousand-meter peaks.

  • The Patscherkofel is the so-called "home mountain" of the Innsbruck and is a rather small skiing area, but with very beautiful downhil runs (Olympic run), so the area is well suited for short-term and shorter skiing days.
  • The "Heilig Wasser Wiese" at the bottom station of the Patscherkofel cable car is a good skiing area to practice.

Mutterer Alm

Since its reopening in 2006, the Muttereralm ski area has been equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including two 8-seater gondola lifts (one from Mutters and one from Götzens)! A further 4-seater chair lift, a tow lift and some children's lifts round off the offer! At both valley stations (Mutters and Götzens) there is also a ski and toboggan rental and a ski school!

  • The Muttereralm ski area is particularly suitable for families and consists of 2 gondola lifts and 2 main downhill runs.

Nordkette

The Hafelekarrinne is one of the steepest ski slopes in Europe. With a gradient of 70%, this descent is reserved for real experts. Magic carpet, little  hills and practice slopes including child care make the Nordkette a unique experience for children and families.

  • The skiing area of the Nordkettenbahn is very small. There are only very few easy slopes.
  • The area is particulary suitable for freeriders when there is fresh powder snow. The area offers many unprepared ski routes.
  • The Ski area is suitable for a short ski day of a few hours or at "Frau Hitt Warte" lift for beginners.

Stubai Glacier

With a snow guarantee from October to June, but skiing often starts in mid-September. Holidaymakers from Innsbruck and its holiday villages can enjoy this very special glacier experience with the free ski bus from Innsbruck.

SKI- AND SNOWBOARD STORAGE
  • A skidepot is available free of charge in our lobby with lochable (on request) ski racks and heated ski boot dryers.

SKI RENTAL
  • Our ski rental partner for our guests "Die Börse Innsbruck" offers you a good service regarding your ski equipment. Make an appointment and you will be picked up from the Hotel the rental shop, where you are able to look for the right equipment for you. The staff of "Die Börse" will also drive you back to the Hotel. On departure you are able to simply leave your rented equipment in our ski depot. It will be collected for you. You can also rent comprehensive winter equipment at "Die Börse" (skis, snowboards, helmets, trousers, gloves, ecc.)
  • Use the form below to contact "Die Börse" directly and arrange your appointments and equipment in advance - This will save time and nerves on site :)

FREE SKI BUS FROM THE HOTEL
  • From 2 nights on you will receive your Welcome Card to travel free of charge to all ski areas in the Innsbruck region. The ski bus stop TOURISTIKLADEZONE is only 200 metres away from the Hotel entrance.
  • The ski bus to all skiing areas (change at the main station to the desired ski area) usually starts at 8:30 am at the Hotel. Direct buses to some areas at 8:25 am.
  • To the Patscherkofel and Nordkette ski areas there is a free ski bus line J every 15 minutes throughout the day. bus stop 1 minute from the Hotel.
  • There is an extra ski bus to the Axamer Lizum ski area every hour from the bus stop "Finanzamt" (500 metres from the Hotel).

  • Walk and shopping in Innsbruck's city centre
  • Visit the Golden Roof (optionally also the museum), climb to the top of the city tower, visit the Hofburg Imperial Palace.

  • Guided city walk in Innsbruck's old town from 11:00 am

  • Ascent in the morning with the Innsbruck Nordkettenbahnen ans short skiing until midday. ATTENTION: The Nordkette offers only very few slopes, bur many off-piste possibilities.
  • In the afternoon: Visit of the Swarovski Chrystal Worlds in Wattens.

  • Ski day at the Stubai Glacier
